Denying God’s Word & Science to Promote Chaos
Aug 02, 2018 07:05 am | Stand Up For The Truth | Comments
One definition of insanity you sometimes hear is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. But another definition could be "a refusal to accept reality." No matter what facts or truth is presented, the person refuses to accept them and continues to insist he is right even despite irrefutable evidence. This seems to define radical liberalism in our nation.
The evidence supporting life is clear in God's Word and true science with each passing year proves life begins much earlier than previously thought. And on the issue of "gender dysphoria," science continues to confirm the truth given to us in God's Word: gender is assigned at conception and there is nothing man can do to change that.
No amount of truth seems sufficient for far left liberals bent on enforcing their agenda of godlessness. Today we look at a few more stories about radical views and arguments disconnected from truth and reality. We check in with Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Council.

Abusing the Word of God for Political Gain
Aug 01, 2018 06:11 am | Stand Up For The Truth | Comments
It's always stunning when Liberals use the Word of God to promote their anti-biblical stances; especially when they are the ones that usually fight tooth and nail against the government creating laws based on scripture. But hypocrisy knows no boundaries and this morning we look at quoted from Elizabeth Warren and Senator Cory Booker, abusing the scriptures to promote a pro-abortion agenda. yes, that's the same Cory Booker that Willow Creek elevated as a next great "Christian" leader at its leadership Summit just a few years back.
And not to be outdone in abusing scripture, Red Letter Christians have once again shown their true colors of hypocrisy, claiming to be "pro-life," but refusing to condemn abortion as sin and murder.
In our first segment this morning, Mike and Crash check in with Tina Griffin, Counter-Culture Mom, to discuss ways to protect our children from the dangers of Hollywood, video games and the internet.

What Suffering Says About Us As Christians
Jul 31, 2018 08:45 am | Stand Up For The Truth | Comments
None of us ever truly wants to suffer and yet the Bible says we should take joy in our sufferings. And how we handle life's problems and times of suffering speaks volumes about the level or maturity of our faith and trust in God.
Sometimes what we think is suffering is nothing more than life not going the way we would like it. Other times, we truly suffer. It is in those times we either lean into and trust God, or double down our own efforts to find peace and avoid the pain life sometimes brings.
Dave Wager of Nicolet Bible Institute and Silver Birch ranch joins us to discuss the role of suffering in the lives of disciples of Jesus Christ.

A Strong Warning to the Churches
Jul 30, 2018 07:17 am | Stand Up For The Truth | Comments
In the book of Revelation, (The Revelation of Jesus Christ), chapters 2 and 3 focus on some of the good deeds of early believers as well as important warnings Jesus gives to seven churches in the area. While Scripture contains some encouragement for each church, Jesus also includes serious warnings of necessary repentance. John details how some of the churches were falling for apostasy and mentioned persecution for those remaining faithful.
Were these letters solely for those specific early churches? Do the warnings of Jesus apply to us in any way and do they contain warnings for today's church? Let's take a quick look at what Jesus said and what John wrote. You'll likely find it very relevant to our churches today and may even notice some striking parallels to America. There is a clear call to repent and return to the things of God, including urgency about the times and passion for truth.
