Hi <<Greeting>>!

This is our seventh and shortest video so far in this ten-part series. This week Jeff shares a little bit about how he’s been volunteering to help Germans practice their English. While we are still struggling to learn German, at least our English can be put to good use to help us meet our neighbors! The class is offered through the local Volkshochschule (literally translated "Community College" but it functions more like a local Parks and Rec in the States).

This is the second semester Jeff has been involved in this class and he’s already planning to continue meeting with some of the Germans over the summer break. Some of them really need the practice for their work. Others are just lonely and are looking for friendships. Either way, it’s a great opportunity to really get to know people!

We’ve had another three bites taken this week and several special gifts given! Thanks for everyone that is joining us in the work happening here in Germany!

There are two ways to give: online (small fee to us, but convenient to you) or via EFT through the mail (free for us, but a small hassle for you). Whichever works best for you, works for us! Also, if you do take a bite, reply to this email and let us know! Sometimes it can take a while for us to find out otherwise.

Thanks for following us! Only three weeks left in the series!

Tschüss!
