Please note that the Park Slope Greens Monday May 13th Meeting has been CANCELLED in order to encourage everyone to attend an extremely important Rally to oppose the Keystone XL Pipeline!!!
The Green Party of NY State has officially co-sponsored this rally.
On Monday May 13th Greens from all over NYC will be meeting at 40th St. and 6th Ave at 4:45pm

Monday, May 13th, President Obama is attending a fundraiser with the 1% at the Waldorf Astoria hotel on Park Avenue and 49th Street in Manhattan.
Occupy The Pipeline, Occupy Sandy, 350 NYC, the Green Party and friends from around the city have partnered to meet him.
Join us to tell President Obama that fossil fuel pipelines are destroying our lives, our health and life on this planet we share.
4:45 PM - Meet in Bryant Park at 6th Avenue and 40th St
5:45 PM - Begin March
6:30 PM - Rally outside Waldorf Astoria on Park Ave & 49th St
In his Inaugural Address just a few months ago, President Obama promised “We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children and future generations.”
Come tell President Obama in no uncertain terms that we must move away from fossil fuels.
Hurricane Sandy brought Climate Change home to our own backyards and front stoops. Now, New Yorkers have united against the Spectra Pipeline, Rockaway Pipeline, and the Keystone XL Pipeline.
We will remind President Obama that fracked gas and tar sands are not renewable energy.
We push for the Federal government to invest in offshore wind and solar powered rooftops that are ready to be implemented but lack the funding that is given to a fossil fuel industry that continues to kill our future.
Add your voice to the communities declaring together: natural gas and tar sands oil are not solutions for a sustainable future.
We ask you to join us if you stand united against pipelines, against fracking, and for Presidential courage on climate change.
Let's unite against these pipelines and move our country forward on climate!
