Congratulations to Brennan & Melanie Salte on the birth of their new baby, Willis Jacob Salte, who was born weighing 8 lbs. 13 oz. on Sunday, December 6^th.  Willis is a brother to Jude.  Blessings to Brennan & Melanie and their growing family!

Congratulations to Manny & Nikki Fast on the birth of their new baby, Eira Ann Fast, who was born weighing 8 lbs. 6 oz. on Friday, December 11^th.  Eira is a sister to Edyn and Emmet.  Blessings to Manny & Nikki and the joyful gifts that God has entrusted to them - - and to us!

Sunday, December 20 • 9:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. @ Calvary
This Sunday we will consider the preparation of the Shepherds (Luke 1:26 – 56).  Our Advent series is entitled, ‘Prepare Him Room​: Preparing to Receive the Gift of Christ.’  We consider Advent (the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas) to be an annual season of preparation, preparing ourselves for what the coming of Christ can look like, as well as understanding why preparation can deepen our experience of Christ’s coming and presence.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Thursday, December 24 • 5:00 p.m. @ Calvary
This annual celebration is a brief, 45 minute service to pause in our pre-Christmas activities. The service is filled with music, Scripture, reflections, and meaning!  The service starts at 5:00 p.m. sharp!!  Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early so that everyone is settled by the start of the service.

End of the Year Offering Gifts
Sunday, December 27 @ Calvary
December 27 will be the final Sunday for tax receiptable gifts for 2015.  If you would like to make a year-end gift to the ministry of our church, or designate a gift to one of our missionaries, please have your gift prepared by this last Sunday in December. Thank you!

One Service Only on December 27 and January 3

Due to the number of students and families away over the Christmas season, there will only be one morning worship service on these two Sundays.  Please make note of this, and come for our 9:00 o'clock service if you are in town over Christmas.  Thank you for your flexibility!

There will be NO KidzChurch on December 27^th, but there will continue to be Nursery services available.  KidzChurch will resume again on January 3^rd at 9:00 a.m., as that is the first Sunday of the month and our extended ministry time.

Art: Vocabulary for the Soul Retreat
Friday-Sunday, February 5-7 @ Star of the North Retreat Centre, St. Albert
