Wanted: Poem

I am shorthanded,
looking for a poem
somebody forgot to write

or I forgot to find—

or I tried to find, but it has
forgotten to be

yet in the world.

I am looking for the line
(or the lines)
that will freely give me

the words

I just now need

to shorten the distance

you    and me.
