Have you done your spring clean yet? The first week of spring is already past…
As winter comes to an end we have the August winds blowing the dead leaves off the branches to make room for the new. Following natures example I undertake a week colon and liver flush during which time I also indulge in a daily session of Crystal Light Therapy to clear energetic toxins.
Cleaning is one of the many things which bring me joy; whether it is the dishes, the house, the garden or my body; for me it is simply care taking and leaves me feeling like a magician.
This year I undertook this cleansing process with extra enthusiasm as I was preparing to go on the
TAG workshop. I had a sense that I needed to take extra care in order to prepare for something sacred to blossom. I had no idea what but when I commit to a workshop which professes to bring out the exceptional in me I expect the greatest version of who I can be to emerge and I do my best to prepare. I was filled with a mix of excitement and apprehension much like going on a blind date or a first date.
I came back yesterday evening from our
TAG weekend driving in silence as I was experiencing a rainbow of feelings which I was unable to verbalize.This morning I awoke much like nature explodes into life again with its myriad of shades of green and glorious blossoms, I too feel a surge of life force coursing through my body and a need to share whatever I am able to put into words with you. I hope that my words will be able to convey this deep sense of awe and gratitude that I feel towards life and my fellow travelers. I must have done something right to have been blessed with a teacher like David Wyllie, if you ever want to know alchemy you have to experience it by being part of the ingredients in the mix that turns lead into gold. Dave is a Master Alchemist who brings all the ingredients together and mixes it with precision, simplicity and much care. He is a rare teacher who teaches from his life experience and the passion and enthusiasm of one who is fulfilling his divine mission on earth. What a profound experience: one that cannot be easily put into words, I can only describe as a blind date with my SELF. I am looking forward to phase 2 of
TAG next month.
I wrote the following some years ago and this morning it feels appropriate to dedicate it to all my teachers:

September is always such a special time of the year for me not only because it is spring but because it is our annual Reiki Master Training at Mabula and mostly because my first child was born in spring. (He is 29 and is getting married tomorrow)
