It's spring!

Yippie! Let's ride bikes! Maybe at the Glow Ride on Friday? Or during an upcoming Bike Night? That's right, B!KE is creating events where you can get out and ride on that freshly maintained bike.

Because it's spring, this newsletter is jam-packed with things you probably want to know about. New hours, new programs, new staff, and a delighting announcement to cap it all off!

Extended Hours

More time to fix then ever before!

Join us on your lunch hour or after work. We have lots of instructed shop time for you to learn DIY bike repair. Come in soon for a spring tune up!

Women-Only Day

Shifting the norm on DIY

Mechanical spaces are typically male dominated. B!KE is working to radically shift this by a creating women-only bike repair space. We invite all women-identified people to come out and enjoy this chance to learn together. Every Thursday from 10-4! Please share!

Hello to Bike Night

B!KE and GreenUP are teaming up to offer a variety of workshops from start to finish this summer! Weekly themes will include:
Mechanical Skills
Family Fun
Rider Confidence
Discovery Rides

Glow Ride

This Friday April 7th, 7:30 p.m.

Charlie is excited to take you on a relaxed Glow Ride through the trails! Decorate your bike at home or at B!KE starting at 6p.m. Some glow sticks and lights provided. Ride leaves at 7:30p.m. White front light and red tail light required. Details on our facebook page.

Annual General Mtg.

Please join us April 24th at 7 p.m.

Join us for light refreshments ar our Annual General Meeting.
B!KE is currently seeking a Trent Undergraduate student representative and a secretary for our Board of Directors. Tegan and Board Chair Dwight are be happy to discuss this volunteer opportunity with anyone interested.
