Lets go for a ride!

Okay, that may be a bit premature for some... But you should still come tune up your bike so that when you want to go for a ride it is all ready to go. Currently you can get instruction on how to do a tune up during Open Shop on Tuesday & Wednesday 12-7 and Saturday 1-4. We are on winter hours till April 1st, stay tuned for an announcement of extended hours in the coming weeks.

This newsletter contains info on the hiring we are doing right now, workshops, bike painting, and how you can help B!KE. We appreciate your help spreading the word wide and far! Please forward and re-post this newsletter widely.

Wheel Building 101

Two part workshop with Tegan

Lots of people seem keen to take this course! It is a great chance to build the wheels you have always wanted, hone your wheel truing skills, and get the sweet sense of satisfaction that is only achieved through wheel building. This two part workshop is tentatively scheduled for March 23rd and 30th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Please contact Tegan to register, and start asking questions about your hubs, rims, and appropriate spokes!

More Rags Please

Towels, terry cloth, and tees!

When you get into spring cleaning we'd love to have that old fabric that is too beat to be reworn. Bring a bag of rags when you come to tune up your bike. Pre-ripped is appreciated but certainly not required. No 100% poly please.

Door Update

$322.84 and you can arrive at B!KE with the push of a button

Just a few hundred dollars shy of our goal! Don't let another front tire mark up the front door--help us install our long awaited power door operator before spring! Tees, posters, drinking glasses and cold hard cash all help the cause!

Until next time...
