The Governor’s directive on masks is effective immediately statewide for counties w/ 4+ active cases. It applies to some indoor settings and outdoor gatherings w/ 50+ when distancing is not possible.

GOOD NEWS: Bringing back passenger train service: Gallatin County Commissioners have formally agreed to participate in the Big Sky Passenger Rail Authority.

The Livingston Food Resource Center’s Community Bakery Store is open Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. offering fresh baked muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls, artisan breads and baguettes. 119 S. Second St, Livingston, or order online or call 222-5335.

The Livingston Food Resource Center has expanded hours for drive through pick up to serve families with children and seniors.  Call 222-5335. 


MASK MAKERS NEEDED The Livingston School District asked us to supply all the students with masks when school resumes in the fall. If you would like to help make masks for the school, Contact Jeanne (406) 223-6647.

Jeanne kitted up fabric and supplies to make 20 pleated masks. If you would like to help make masks, Jeanne will put a kit out with your name on it for pickup.

To date, we have provided over 4,000 masks – something to be very proud of!  We have supplied everyone who has needed and requested a face mask. Video of the mask-making process


Peak Potential: Would your students attend private tutoring/small class instruction in the area this fall?  Fill our this survey if you are interested.

A rewarding experience: Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch has a critical need for planned respite care for local foster youth.  Currently four females and three males, ages five through sixteen, are in foster families, who would benefit from a weekend or a couple of days a month of regular respite for their youth. East side Crazy Mountains Land Exchange and Public Access: a radically different perspective than PCEC

The City of Livingston conducted a series of interactive community rail crossing meetings on June 18, June 25, and July 9, 2020 to gauge public interest and opinions to possibly finalize a proposal for a tax increase to self-fund an additional railroad crossing. The City will take public comment regarding this project until 5 pm July 31, 2020. Email your comments to citymanager@livingstonmontana.org or by mail to City Manager, 414 E. 9 AM – 1 PM: Gather at Roosevelt Arch for a small, peaceful, Gardiner/Mammoth based protest in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. The goal is to provide our community with the opportunity to join in on this important national conversation demanding racial justice and equality after the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Gather on the hill just south of the Roosevelt Arch. The park superintendent and Gardiner Sheriff have been notified about the gathering.
